About us MAYA is the European importer and distribution company for the absorption appliances produced by the Japanese multinational, YAZAKI. MAYA commenced operations in 1989, and in 1995 YAZAKI became a direct shareholder in the company, given its growing interest in developing the European market. MAYA operates throughout Europe, both directly and indirectly via a series of skilled organizations capable of providing design engineers and installers with the necessary local technical support. The after sales technical support, which MAYA runs directly, uses a network of rigorously selected, fully trained maintenance centres with strategic locations. YAZAKI is a multinational group with over 160,000 employees operating in various business sectors; it has 169 operating centres spread worldwide and achieves an annual turnover of 8.0 billion euros. YAZAKI is an undisputed world leader in the air conditioning industry with a specialized output of absorption equipment.
